The Duke Cancer Network has an exciting leadership opportunity available at one of our affiliated clinical oncology programs. We are looking for the next Director of Oncology Services at Maria Parham Health, a Duke Lifepoint Healthcare Hospital- located in Henderson, North Carolina who will:
As part of the Duke team, work closely with the Duke providers and faculty at Maria Parham Cancer Center to deliver high quality cancer services in this community
Coordinate the day to day clinic operations of a fast paced Duke affiliated oncology program located a short distance from the Raleigh-Durham “Triangle” area
Collaborate with Hospital leadership regarding site strategic planning initiatives and programmatic growth
Supervise a dynamic, well-trained staff of nurses, social work, radiation oncology, nutrition and support services
Direct and coordinate personnel activities for the oncology program to include recruitment, hiring, scheduling, coaching, performance reviews and staff professional growth and development
Manage medical and radiation nursing care delivery systems that reflects patient and family needs across the continuum
Interface with the Duke Cancer Network team to implement ongoing oncology research and education programs at Maria Parham
Maintain monitoring systems to track productivity, financial performance, quality and quality score card methodology and performance metrics.
Coordinate the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer Accreditation activities at Maria Parham.
