Plans, coordinates and directs those activities essential to the provision of quality nursing care. Coordinates the medically planned activities provided by the physician. Coordinates treatments for chemotherapy, obtains pre-authorization for patient chemotherapy and other medications.
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing. Current licensure to practice in the State of Delaware as a Registered Nurse. Current CPR certification. Must meet all applicable federal, state and local professional requirements.
Three (3) years of oncology required. Office experience preferred.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the hematology oncology population. Chemotherapy and biotherapy required. O.N.S. certification preferred.
