The Assistant Nurse Manager will play an important role in the nursing department, ensuring nursing operations are smooth and effective on the unit. The individual will provide administrative support for the nursing manager and help to ensure that both financial and quality goals and metrics are met. This will include overseeing daily operations of the unit and ensure proper care is provided for all patients. Specific day-to-day tasks may include assisting with patient care, relaying information to doctors, communicating with various health care professionals, providing information about care and treatment to patients, assisting nursing staff with various problems, and resolving patient complaints. The assistant patient care manager plays a crucial role in mentoring and guiding staff and providing staff feedback. This job also includes human resource management which involves recruiting and hiring nursing staff.
RN License in Connecticut
Recent experience required, 3 - 5 years in area of expertise.
