We currently have openings in Medical Oncology at Saint Luke's South (Overland Park, KS) and in GYN Oncology at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City (Kansas City, MO- Plaza) for Nurse Clinicians
Qualifications: Provides quality cancer care by assessing and monitoring patients. Engages in developing a plan of care in collaboration with the physician and other members of the health care team. Self directed, functions independently. Accountable for utilizing nursing process. Demonstrates necessary skills and knowledge base in accordance with licensed scope of practice. Uses discriminatory judgment in interpreting data, prioritizing appropriately. Serves as a resource for clinical team members. Responsible for coordination of care and patient education, including administrative duties, and as back up support to other positions, as needed. Utilizes appropriate hospital and community resources.
- Applicable State RN Licensure--MO and KS
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- One year of relevant experience preferred
- OCN preferred
