The UMHC Sylvester Plantation location currently has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Nursing, Chemotherapy infusion unit, Satellite Oncology and Non Oncology Clinic and overall Satellite Nursing Services
Clinical responsibilities include management of the daily operation of the assigned clinic(s). Assures coordination of patient care through evidence based standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies and compliance with all clinical safety standards. The Nurse Manager will promote professional practice models that encourage staff collaboration, committee participation, and organizational involvement. She/he will utilize data to facilitate excellent customer satisfaction. The unit will be managed according to approved yearly budget and will utilize data to justify any appropriate variances. In addition she/he will enforce professional staff behaviors that facilitate positive relationships among colleagues, physicians, administration, and other hospital personnel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: The minimum requirements are as follows: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; MSN preferred. Graduate from accredited school of nursing. Current and Valid State of Florida Registered Nurse license is required. BLS/ACLS Certifications required. Minimum three (3) years of recent clinical experience in a large multidisciplinary outpatient clinic/facility; five (5) years preferred. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Proven track record of building relationships with physicians, and key staff members. Excellent English verbal/written skills are necessary. Moderate to advanced computer literacy and skills. Excellent presentation skills are necessary. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered. Patient safety is a top priority.
