Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
TMC HealthCare is Southern Arizona's regional nonprofit hospital system with Tucson Medical Center at its core. Each day staff comes to work to use their skills and expertise to improve the health of the entire community, from birth to the end of life. This position is responsible for assessing, managing, prescribing and evaluating appropriate therapeutic and pharmacologic interventions, providing palliative care consultation to seriously ill patients and their families. As a member of the palliative care multidisciplinary team, the nurse practitioner plays a pivotal role, working closely with physicians and other clinicians.
A minimum of three years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting, including care of patients with complex, chronic and/or life-threatening conditions, and those at end of life is required. Clinical experience in oncology, hospice or intensive care is preferred.
