City of Hope (COH) welcomes applications and nominations for a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) for our Clinical Research Unit (CRU). This is an exciting opportunity to support world-renowned clinician scientists conducting leading-edge research in delivering new treatments for men, women and children around the world. The CRU Clinical Nurse Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting this growing research enterprise.
As a key leader, this role will provide consistent leadership and oversight of the daily operations of the infusion team within the CRU; further develop and implement standardized staff practices; and devise and coordinate strategies which enhance interdepartmental communication and collaboration among disease teams, physicians and inpatient nursing. As one of the primary points of contact for the CRU, the CNM will facilitate collaborative interactions between the Clinical Trials Office and the CRU infusion team. Given COH's consistent growth of clinical research, volume in the CRU will increase substantially over the next five years.
The successful candidate will have clinical research experience providing excellent care in infusion oncology and hematology care. Relevant experience in academic medicine, including demonstrated excellence in supporting world-class faculty in clinical trial research is preferred.
