As a Registered Nurse in the Oncology Infusion Center (OIC), you will provide care to patients receiving treatment in the OIC requiring IV therapy, chemotherapy, non-oncology infusions & blood product administration. Our nurses blend skill, expertise and critical thinking with care, compassion and personal relationships to truly connect with their patients. The Oncology Infusion RN is responsible for:
Assessing, prioritizing & monitoring patients under their care
Providing education regarding therapy and treatment associated with specific medications and disease processes
Utilizing critical thinking in assessing patient symptoms to determine specific needs
Caring for adult and geriatric populations while being aware of the age-specific considerations in delivering care to these populations
Current WA State RN license required.
1 or more years Oncology & Chemo experience.
IV Infusion experience preferred.
BSN strongly preferred.
