The NIH Clinical Center Nursing Department is seeking a Nurse Manager for the 26 bed Hematology Oncology and Transplant unit. The Supervisory Clinical Nurse position will report to the Service Chief for Oncology and Critical Care. The Clinical Center is a unique 200-bed hospital that serves patients from all over the world participating in clinical trials. You will collaborate with researchers from the National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Heart Lung and Blood, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease and a large multidisciplinary team. Researchers are working on the latest in cellular research along with a nursing staff who are devoted to the work and patient population. The nurses are professional, highly educated and many are certified as OCN/BMT. The unit staff are active in our Shared Governance process and Evidenced Based Practice.

Must be a US citizen. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience leading an oncology program of care at the manager or director level, including designing care delivery systems to meet the unique needs of adult oncology populations, determining resource requirements, and supporting a research-intensive practice environment. BSN and MSN or MS preferred. Must possess a current RN license from a State, District of Columbia or territory of the United States.
