The Sales Engineer/Oncology Solutions Expert is an integrator of oncology clinical and business needs and technology solutions helping to sell solutions for client’s strategic business objectives. This key sales role will also:
Work closely with the regional sales teams and Chief Commercial Officer to help drive and support the sales process.
Bring clinical oncology expertise and extensive knowledge about Carevive’s products to the sales team to help generate leads, advance potential customers through the sales process, and grow Carevive’s base of customers.
Act as Carevive’s oncology expert, offering clinical perspective to support the regional sales director and clients’ needs.
Assist the sales director(s) with client presentations, demos, etc. specifically focused on the clinical and technical components of Carevive’s value proposition.
Support the sales director(s) to understand the clients’ business drivers.
Collaborate with the development team to remain knowledgeable about the status of the products and future roadmap.
Collaborate with the client services team to obtain feedback that will help drive sales with potential clients. And, with the research team to stay abreast of research results and partnerships that can support the sales team.
Collaborate with company partners to communicate information that will help support sales.
Identify and generate new leads and increase awareness of Carevive’s products through presentations and attendance at relevant conferences and meetings. Includes local, regional, and national travel.
Collaborate with sales team members to critically analyze and summarize market needs and drivers and to contribute to development of sales strategy and messaging in response to dynamic market influences.
Assist with education and training of Carevive staff on Carevive mission and value to the industry and to maximize the client services team’s ability to “upsell” existing clients.
Qualifications for this Full Time/Remote Position:
Must have a strong passion to improve cancer care
Master’s degree or Doctorate in nursing
Ability to travel as needed throughout the United States
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in oncology practice
Experience with EMRs and Tumor Registry software
Experience with program leadership, program development or change enablement
Experience with participation in quality improvement processes
Ability to effectively communicate with cancer center and hospital stakeholders
Experience and proficiency giving presentations to individuals and group settings
Ability to interpret and disseminate pertinent research findings to stakeholders
Knowledgeable about cancer accreditations and reimbursement models
Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and organized
Interest and/or experience supporting a sales team
AOCNP certified or similar relevant clinical certifications (preferred)
Telecommuting is allowed.
