The Director of Satellite Nursing Services is ultimately responsible for effective operational management of the clinics and infusion services at current satellite Sylvester hospital based clinics. This also includes all future satellites. This responsibility includes monitoring and improving the clinical and functional effectiveness based on knowledge and implementation of best practices and adherence to standards set by regulatory agencies and professional organizations.
This position will provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing areas at the satellites. Responsibilities also include physician and patient satisfaction, performance improvement activities, strategic planning, and the development and maintenance of nursing related policies and procedures and nursing standards of care and practice. Directs and/or supervises the management of Nurse Managers/or assigned charge Nurse at all Sylvester Satellite sites to ensure goals and objectives are met. Reports directly to the Chief Satellite Operations Officer and functional reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Current/valid Florida nursing license. BSN with extensive management experience in Oncology; MSN preferred. Five years recent experience as a Clinical Director and/or Manager with Oncology infusion experience. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Excellent English verbal/written skills are necessary.
