INFUSION REGISTERED NURSES*
*$15,000 Sign-on Bonus (for eligible positions with a 2 year commitment)
The Chemotherapy nurse is responsible for administering standard chemotherapy, research study agents and biotherapy agents, and non-chemotherapy medications. Monitors therapeutic responses and side effects, and obtains pharmacokinetic blood samples and other laboratory specimens as required by each protocol. Assists in maintenance of up-to-date protocol information in clinical areas. Documents in a concise, accurate and legible manner according to clinical practice standards. Supports patients and their families during treatments. Works to educate patients and their families about their treatment and protocol requirements. Utilizes independent learning methods to become knowledgeable about new protocols and protocol changes. Will administer care to oncology patients as well as with multiple disease process and research study patients.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of nursing. Current/valid Florida nursing license and three (3) years recent Oncology/Infusion experience. Ambulatory experience preferred.
