Take your med-surg-telemetry nursing career to the next level with specialty nursing!
Greater Baltimore Medical Center’s Oncology nursing department is actively searching for talented nurses to join the team. This is a cardiac and medical-surgical unit with specialty designation in Oncology.
As a Nurse in this unit, you will encounter patients in various phases of their cancer treatment and healing journey. You will be responsible for direct patient care to include administration of medication, chemotherapy and other treatments in accordance with the plan of care. This is done while simultaneously providing the most holistic and meaningful service for not only the patients, but their family members as well.
This unit is truly a family where staff celebrate one another, engage in regular off-site team building activities, have one-minute dance offs or breakfast chocolate to help power through a shift. Rock star performers may be awarded “employee of the month” with a choice parking spot. Add to this an abundance of routine smiles and Melanie’s singing throughout her shift and you have a pretty fantastic environment in which to work.
