Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Hematology Oncology PC, a well-established medical oncology/hematology physician group practice, is seeking an experienced APRN for a full-time, out-patient opportunity located at the Bennett Cancer Center at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, Connecticut. Working in a value-based care setting, the APRN will interact with patients for urgent/sick visits, symptom management /palliative care visits, pre-treatment and follow up visits, participating as an integral part of ongoing care for patients seen and treated in a full service department of medical oncology and hematology. The department includes an onsite laboratory facility, an oncology pharmacy and a newly constructed treatment center.
Hematology Oncology PC is the provider of care for patients of the Bennett Cancer Center, and a member of the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Care Collaborative, located on the campus of the new, state-of-the-art Stamford Hospital. Stamford, Connecticut has a vibrant local community, while being within minutes of all New York City has to offer.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited school for nurse practitioners and a current Connecticut license as an RN with APRN registration is required at time of employment. Prefer a minimum of one year post-licensure experience as an oncology APRN and OCN certification highly preferred. Other specialties may be considered.

Hematology Oncology PC is the exclusive provider of clinical care for patients of Stamford Hospital's Bennett Cancer Center in Stamford, CT. Providers include seven board certified oncologist-hematologists, three full time NPs providing clinical care, one NP supporting both clinical and survivorship care, and one additional NP serving survivorship patients and as chemotherapy educator. The group is QOPI certified, and is a member of the Dana Farber/Brigham and Womens Cancer Care Collaborative.
