Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Med Tech/MLT at our Midtown location. This position may also be required to float to other locations throughout the Denver metro area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform specimen analysis of Chemistry, Hematology and Immunassay Perform analysis of blood samples in an efficient, accurate manner. Maintain and operate all laboratory equipement Prepare smears and perform manual differential Perform microscopic examination of urinary sediment Has experience with EMR and LIS systems. Process specimens for reference laboratory testing. Assist with bone marrow biopsy procedures and processing Maintain adequate supplies and reagents. Maintain adequate supplies and reagents Participate in development of new instruments and procedures Perform phlebotomy and sample collection procedures as needed.
Previous lab experience required. Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technician preferred. Successful completion of a structured clinical program internship and state licensure. Minimum three years of experience required. ASCP or AMT preferred.
