Advisesup-linemanagementregardingthepracticemanagementfinancialprogramsin a multi-site,single market location.Assistsindeterminingfinancialgoalsforthevariousoperatingunits,analyzingandreportingvariancesandmaintaininggeneralledgerandrelatedsystems for accountsreceivable,accountspayable,andpayroll.Developsmanagement reports, coordinatesandmonitorsfinancialbudgetsandensuresfinancialreportingisinaccordancewithgenerallyacceptedaccountingprinciples.SupportsandadherestotheUSOncologyComplianceProgram,toincludetheCodeofEthicsandBusinessStandards.
-Ensure practice is compliant with all established accounting and revenue cycle policies/procedures and internal controls
-Oversight of revenue cycle and reconciliation of key accounts (AR, cash clearing, credit balances, reserves for contractual, bad debt and denials)
-Responsible for reporting detailed financial information to Executive Director and physician leadership
-Present financials at physician meetings and board meetings.
-Month end accounting process.
-Liaison between McKesson Specialty Health and field for process implementation and control.
- Performance preparation
-Provides support todepartmentmanagers,practiceadministrationandphysiciansinthepreparation,understandinganduseoffinancialinformationandassiststheorganizationtowarditsgoalofimprovingcost-effectivenessofhealth care delivery.
-Participates in development of practice objectives.
-Directs practiceand site costaccounting,budgetingandspecialprojects.
-Developsannualbudgetandcoordinatesandimplementsbudgets for alloperatingunits.Developsbudgetinstructions,assistsmanagerswithbudgetpreparation,ensurescompliancewithpresentationdeadlinesandreviewsreasonablenessoffinalbudgetgoals.
-Oversees operating,capitaland cash flowbudgetsandassistspracticemanagementinexercising control toensureexpendituresdonotexceedbudgetarylimitsandareincompliancewithManagementServiceAgreementandallrelatedagreements.
-Reviewsproposedcontracts for financialimpactand risk factors.
-Audits some contracts,ordersandvouchersbeforeprocessing.
-Coordinates some activitiesinkeepingbooksand records, includingmaintaininggeneralledgerandrelated systems for accountsreceivable,accountspayable,andpayroll.
-Ensuresproperreceiving,deposition,anddisbursingofall center fundsandmanages cash flow.
