Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for a Lab Tech/MLT or Med Tech in Longmont. This is a PRN position that will required to cover on an as needed basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform specimen analysis of Hematology and Coagulation.
Maintain and operate all laboratory equipment
Adhere to laboratory quality control policies
Participates in proficiency testing
Process specimens for reference laboratory testing
Maintain adequate supplies and reagents
Has experience with EMR and LIS systems.
Perform phlebotomy and sample collection procedures as needed
Previous lab experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technician preferred. Successful completion of a structured clinical program internship and state licensure. ASCP or AMT preferred. All candidates are required to pass a drug screening and background check prior to hire.
