The Receptionist,under minimal supervision is responsible for greeting patients and visitors into the office in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. Insures all appropriate forms are complete, accurate, and according to company guidelines. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Will be responsible for greeting all individuals into the front office area in a pleasant manner and responding to their business needs, while monitoring all visitors who enter the facility for security purposes.
Maintains lobby area in a neat and orderly manner.
Follows policies and procedures to contribute to the efficiency of the front office.
Covers for other front office functions as requested. Prepares correspondence, memos, forms and other typing as requested by supervisor.
Maintaining log for hand-delivered packages
Transcribing, sorting, faxing and other clerical duties as assigned
Provide general clerical support for the efficient operation of the office.
Conduct normal telephone protocol by answering all incoming calls and responding appropriately to their requests or questions and taking messages when needed.
Processes all incoming and outgoing mail and maintains the front office area which includes all business equipment used on a daily basis.
Ensure supplies are replenished in work and meeting areas as necessary
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum five years office experience.
