Career Opportunity: Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada's newest site will be opening soon! The grand opening for the Town Center clinic is set for early October 2018, and we have an exciting opportunity for a breast surgery Medical Assistant at this new location in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, Nevada.
The essential functions for the Medical Assistant include the following:
Obtains and documents vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes
Prepares and stocks exam/treatment rooms
Assists physicians with exams and procedures
Administers SQ and IM
Phones in prescriptions and makes other patient calls as directed by physicians and RN
The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum three years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant in a hospital or clinic setting
Successful candidates will thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and have a passion for caring for their patients.
