Tallahassee Memorial Health Care is seeking a strong leader for 30-bed Hematology and Oncology unit. This facility offers competitive employee compensation and benefits, team-oriented work environment We need a transformative and collaborative leader familiar with the LEAN style. Evidence-based practice leader to move the program forward to an advanced level. A change agent to handle a busy unit, educator, and budgets. Will manage the assistant nurse managers, RNs, PCA, unit and department secretaries, approx. 41 FTEs. Hiring, mentoring, financials, communication up and down with hospital staff and leaders. Drive staff accountability with a collaborative style. Strong leader that communicates openly and collaborates with staff to arrive at decision points. Drives accountability post-decision process. In-patient oncology leadership experience utilizing evidence-based practice. LEAN principles
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse (Active Florida RN License or in process of obtaining active FL RN Licensure will be considered). A Graduate from an accredited nursing program a Bachelors in Nursing (BSN). • BSN required Masters preferred. • OCN, ONS, BLS, ACLS certifications and licenses. • 2+ years of management experience.
