Deliver direct patient care to patients with a variety of medical and/or surgical conditions. Explain and document procedures, interventions, medications and patient’s response to medications. Coordinate care and assist will all processes as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Assistant Nurse Manager
Manage the patient care unit for administrative and clinical aspects, and ensure care is delivered according to established standards and hospital policies. Provide education to staff based on theoretical and clinical expertise. Assist in the delegation of responsibilities to staff, assuring 24-hour accountability and continuity of patient care. Requires one year of experience.
Qualifications include the following:
Chemo certification (for outpatient and inpatient services)
Experience as a charge nurse or related leadership role
