Leads and manages operational improvement projects throughout the organization including both clinical and non-clinical areas to accomplish measurable business process improvements. Work assignments are typically more complex and larger in scope. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing processes and develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable clinical and business process improvements. Collects and analyzes process and/or quality data to initiate, develop, and recommend operational practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost. May focus on either quality or process improvement.
Roles and responsibilites include but are not limited to: Document control, accreditation, competencies, audits, etc. adding clinical background/experince to driving clinical aspects of quality
Basic Qualifications: Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in industrial engineering, field closely related to operational improvement, process improvement, project management, health care, case management, quality improvement, utilization management, business administration, regulatory affairs, complaince, clinical or related field
Experience - 5 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in implementing successful, organization-wide operational improvement launches in the health care industry or closely related field, including extensive experience with process improvement, project management, change management, team leadership, education and training with process improvement tools and techniques, leadership, managment, faciliatation, clinical expereince, or related experience
Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN) Based on specific Spectrum Health department or entity.
Preferred Qualifications: Education - Master's Degree in related field RN with experience in Oncology and/or BMT strongly preferred
