We are hiring for an Oncology Nurse who will work closely with patients receiving radiation treatment. The RN will provide professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will work directly with the Radiation Oncologist while supporting the patient during clinic visits.

Administers medications safely
Performs patient assessments and documents accordingly in the medical record
Coordinates care delivery, utilizes resources to promote the continuum of care
Demonstrates knowledge and skill in all aspects of IV therapy, i.e., hydration, chemotherapy/biotherapy and blood products
Manages patient care based upon knowledge of cancer, cancer treatments, and side effects of such treatment
Communicates systematic report to other care providers
Uses quality and evidence based practice to deliver and improve care
Implements plan of care in a safe, timely, and appropriate manner
Identifies expected interventions and outcomes for an individualized plan of care and communicates effectively with patient, family and other team members
Works closely with experienced clinicians for guidance and supervision
ONC Chemotherapy/Biotherapy or Radiation Oncology required within the first year of employment
