Responsible for all operations within the Oncology Department.
Duties include, but not limited to, performance management, supervision and evaluation of all technical and clerical staff utilized in the functions of the department, establishing and monitoring effective policies and procedures to ensure the professional and ethical care of the patients served by these areas, budgetary responsibility and accountability, directly responsible for maintaining payroll, business office and accounting issues, radiology information systems, performance/quality improvement and assessment, planning and implementation of future services and equipment needs. To provide high quality Oncology Services while maintaining budgetary guidelines and productivity standards set forth by Hospital Administration.Accountable for the delivery of efficient, high quality services to the patient, physician and all customers of the department during hours of operation.
BS in Health Care Administration, Nursing or related field
Masters in Business Administration or Health Care Administration preferred
Minimum five (5) years experience as a supervisor in Radiation Therapy or previous experience as a Director in Radiation Therapy
