Lead and direct operation of nursing educational programs and professional development.
Manage, coordinate and promote programs that address the educational and professional development needs
Assess, develop, implement and evaluate educational and professional development activities.
Ensure all education programs are up to date and align with relevant plans, policies and directives.
Use knowledge of principles of adult learning theory as a method of creative program planning and design; coordinate and oversee education and orientation programs
Actively participate in the alignment of strategic planning process for the organization.
Facilitate team member development through consultation, support of various initiatives and ongoing communication.
Lead and support special projects and organizational strategic goals.
Perform human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions and overall employee morale.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and
Nursing Professional Development (RN-BC) certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Master's Degree in Education or Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
OCN certification is desirable.
5 years of experience in nursing education or professional development is preferred.
1 year of supervisory experience in nursing education or professional development.
Clinical Oncology experience preferred.
Mandarin language proficiency whilst not essential, would be highly regarded.
