Our group at Hematology / Oncology of Indiana located in Indianapolis is searching for an experienced Full-Time RN to join our team to work in our outpatient clinic working with infusions and chemotherapy. Great clinic day shift hours! No weekends or Holidays!
The RN will be working in a fast-paced infusion suite administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy agents. The RN partners with the physicians with educating the patients on the side and symptoms of their treatments. Assisting with preparing chemotherapy agents, patient assessments and phone triage are other responsibilities of the RN.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Registered Nurse,licensed in the State of Indiana, with experience in IV therapy.
The ability to assess patient needs and condition.
Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Current CPR & BLS certifications.
Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license for travel to clinics.
Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
Additional Salary Information: varies with experience. Additional differential for OCN certified RNs
