The Cancer Research Coordinator is responsible and accountable for planning, organizing and managing the daily operations of the department and ensures that the research program complies with FDA, OHRP and GCP guidelines and regulations. The Research Coordinator in conjunction with the Medical Director of Clinical Research is responsible for communications related to protocols, registration of patients, collection of data as directed per protocol, and local activities to support the full development of a program of clinical trials and cancer control projects as stated in the NCORP Community Site Agreement between Southeast Clinical Oncology Research Consortium (SCOR) and Pardee Hospital.
Bachelor’s of Nursing required
Current license as Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
Five years nursing experience in oncology, research or PI experience desirable, supervisor experience preferred.
Oncology (OCN) and/or Research Certification (CCRP or ACRP-CP) preferred. Required after 3 years in the position.
