Summary
The Outpatient Clinic Oncology RN is responsible for the provision and coordination of patient centered care in an outpatient hospital based Cancer Center in compliance with ONS/ONCC and organization standards. The RN works cooperatively and collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team while maintaining confidentiality, integrity, quality care, and professionalism. The RN must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and service, appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her area. Conducts various RN navigator responsibilities. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Requirements
Associates Degree in Nursing
Licensure to practice in the State of California
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate
Oncology Certified Nurse Preferred (OCN)
Basic e-mail ,Word, Excel proficiency
2 years of Oncology Nursing experience required
