Our Oncology & Hematology practice located at the Helen F Graham Center in Newark is currently looking for a full-time Registered Nurse. In this role you will be providing nursing care and assume responsibility for telephone triage in an outpatient setting.
Assess patient needs (via phone, portal, clinic, infusion suite, or walk in) and help determine plan of care with support of physicians and clinicians.
Prioritize problems based on the patient's stated reason for call or visit, presenting signs/symptoms, patient risk factors and potential outcomes.
Document all patient interactions/communications, maintaining updated medical records for visibility by clinical and administrative teams.
Assist providers by conducting chemotherapy teaching and nurse visits.
Work Hours : Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
Requirements: BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years from your date of hire. RN license or eligible for licensure in the state of Delaware. Two years of experience as a RN required. Experience working as a RN in Oncology and/or Hematology preferred.
