The Oncology RN Clinical Coordinator collaborates with the Site Director to assess, plan, implement and evaluate all aspects of the nursing unit for Outpatient Chemotherapy. Assumes responsibility and accountability for the oversight of patient care, staff orientation, education, staff competencies and quality improvement in a way that is consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Hospital Administration.
Education: Associates Degree in nursing required, ACLS, and BLS
Experience: Requires a minimum of three and up to five years of experience as a Registered Nurse in outpatient chemotherapy departments. Prior management experience a plus.
License: Current license NYS RN license. OCN chemotherapy and biotherapy certification required.
