If so, the Commack Symptom Care Clinic is looking for an exceptional clinical nurse with strong critical thinking skills to join our team. The SCC unit provides urgent and comprehensive patient-centered care to MSKCCS patients 7 days a week. Patients are triaged/evaluated, and a decision is made to, admit, discharge or transfer a patient to another level of care regionally or in NYC.
An experienced clinical nurse with experience in Oncology, Med/Surg, or Emergency Room Nursing

Implement the nursing process for medical and surgical patients requiring intensive monitoring and nursing interventions in our SCC.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate continuity of care.
Provide exceptional patient centered care to our patients and unregistered patients.
Deliver care to employees who are injured on the premises.
Current NYS RN license/registration
Bachelors in Nursing (BSN)
A minimum of 2 years of clinical medical/surgical, oncology or emergency room experience required.
National certification highly preferred
Hours: Part-Time (75%) 3-10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday (future expansion to Saturdays) hours of work flexed between 7am-8pm
