JOBSUMMARY:
Provides Project Management support to Vanderbilt Advanced Scheduling Program (VAS) which goal is to optimize scheduling process and increase patient's access to appointments.
Manages project execution from start to finish for assigned workstream projects. Primary area of focus is PM support to Patient Access Services department by coordinating activities within each project phase and facilitates workflow optimization sessions and design of scheduling decision trees. Understand and analyze operationalprocedures,requirements, processes and/or otherneedstodeliversuccessfulcompletion oftheproject. Coordinates cross-departmental collaboration between Operational, Clinical, Health IT and Marketing leaders and team members.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:
The IT PROJECT MANAGER has full responsibility and accountability for specific projects within VAS Program waves to:
Manage assigned projects from start to finish.
Lead project activities from planning such as scope/timeline development to facilitation of design and approvals, coordination of testing and training efforts, to post-deployment support and project closure.
Apply project management and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to project documentation, design, execution and stakeholder management.
Lead and facilitate workflow optimization sessions and support creation of scheduling decision trees.
Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders and team members, bring clarity to goals, objectives, roles and responsibilities, foster transparency, collaboration and accountability.
Ensure adherence to scope and timeline, manage change control and serve as a Risk/Issue manager.
