This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. NWIHCS offers 12-month RN Transition to Practice (RNTTP) program for all New Graduate Nurse's with one year or less experience. Residency programs ensure a supervised transition to autonomous and competent clinical practice. This employee-based program is available to BSN and ADN graduates. Residents engage in a variety of didactic and academic learning opportunities, including onsite training in simulation and opportunities for learning through in-person and virtual courses.
