The program is a combination of classroom instruction and clinical hours with preceptors who are experts in their fields. At the conclusion of the Residency, RNs will feel confident in providing the quality patient care our patients require and deserve. Specialties available at Deaconess Medical Center include the Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Emergency Department, Operating Room, Endoscopy, Mother Baby, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Neuro/Ortho/Spine/EMU/Trauma, Complex Surgical, and Medical and Oncology. Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. BSN required after 3 years of employmentEducation/Licenses/Certifications: Current WA state RN license. Current Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
