As a Nursing Manager, job responsibilities include the following:* The Nurse Manager is responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit(s), a*ssigned units include Pre-Op, PACU, GI/ENDO, Pre-Admission/Procedural Testing. *These sub-specialties are spread across 2 floors.* The role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations. * The role demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement. * This position consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. * The Nurse Manager supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education,* Schedule- Full Time-  40hrs/ week- Days- Variable shifts times per surgical volume and needs of unit- typically 5x8hrs* No call required but may need to fill in on occasion to cover for team if need arises* Approx. 95 Direct Reports inclusive or PAT, Prep Recovery (Same day surgery unit), PACU, and Endoscopy What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Nursing Manager candidates will need the following: * 3 years RN experience, required* 1-year Nurse manager experience required* Previous Pre OP PACU exp required * High School GED required* A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN), required* Masters Degree preferred * Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required * BLS through the American Heart Association* Must sit for appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer into the role. Certification must be passed/obtained within two years of hire or transfer into the role.* Clinical and/or Leadership certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.* Credential: Nursing Specific- ANCC ApprovedPhysical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)Your Connected Community:St. Anthony Hospital, located in Lakewood, Colorado, is a Level I Trauma Center with four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams who provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients.
