Some exclusions may apply. The 5th Floor Medical Surgical department at St. Anthony Hospital is a 36-bed medical surgical unit specializing in neuro trauma and ortho trauma. Our department is the main service line for our patients that need the care that a Level 1 Trauma Center Provides. Our typical patient diagnoses are motor vehicle accidents/motorcycle accidents, traumatic brain injuries, subdural hematomas, subarachnoid hemorrhages, spinal cord injuries, and spinal surgeries.  Patients are from all age groups (usually 16 years and above) with occasional overflow of general med/surg patients. We have a strong culture of teamwork where we pride ourselves on delivering high quality, safe patient care. Our team is a committed, caring group of colleagues who have a passion for creating positive patient interactions. Our medical surgical unit lends itself to developing great relationships with our coworkers and we work together to provide excellent patient care. We are a great starting point for someone interested in a future in Critical Care.  Weekend Option Commitment & Differential* RN Weekend Option position requires six month commitment to working weekend schedule. $10/hr weekend option differential applies for Saturday and Sunday shifts. What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * One year of RN experience required* RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact, * *Colorado Only:* RNs working in Colorado under a multi-state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency, i.e., drivers license, register to vote, etc. Compact to Compact.
