DescriptionROLE DESCRIPTIONAt our Cincinnati Children's Liberty Campus, critical care experienced nurses are imperative to our patients' safety. Liberty is one of Cincinnati Children's Hospital satelitte campuses, caring for general pediatric hospital medicine patients, our ventilator depandent population in the Transitional Care Center, and hematology/oncology patients. Liberty does not have an onsite ICU, therefore we rely on the expertise of critical care experienced nurses to be a resource when a patient is decompensating or there is an emergency situtation. This role does not regularly care for critcally ill children, patient assignments are on our hospital medicine unit. Skills are maintained through education and high fidelity simulations.
