Hem/Onc Nurse Practitioner
Overview of Job Duties… Follow-up care to hematology/oncology patients, including: evaluation of cancer status, coordination of care, management of acute therapy side effects, review labs and imaging, order appropriate work-ups, symptom management and prescribe appropriate medications. Work in collaboration with the medical oncologists to provide safe, effective care. 12-14 patients per day; primarily outpatient position, with some inpatient rounding.
