Surgical Inpatient Opportunities:
**Please note these are Surgical Inpatient roles and not a Perioperative role nor a role within the ED.
Urology Unit
Patient Population: Urology, Colon, Rectal;This unit supports a nationally recognized colorectal surgery program; Patient Ratios: 1:5; 35 bed unit, 64 staff
Abdominal Transplant Unit
Patient Population: Liver, kidney, pancreas, auto islet cell, and uterus transplant patients, living liver and kidney donors, hepatology patients, hepatobiliary surgery patients, transplant preparation and more; Largest transplant center in the state! The first to perform uterus transplant in the U.S.; Patient Ratios: 1:3-5; 33 bed unit, 70 staff
Trauma Unit
Patient Population: TBI, Wound, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Gunshot Wounds, Falls, Psych, etc.;Trachs, Chest tubes, Wound vacs, multiple drains, & feeding tubes; Patient Ratios: 1:4-5; 42 bed unit, 80 staff
Patient Population: Gynecology, Thyroid, Pancreas, Whipple, Skin, Stomach, Breast, and Plastics Oncology; Patient Ratios: 1:4 for Day and Night shift
Registered Nurse Requirements
At least one year of inpatient hospital RN experience
Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
RN - Registered Nurse
BLS - Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
